DeMolay International has a wide variety of Awards and Honors that can be given to Active DeMolays, Senior DeMolays, Advisors, and others.
Awards
Awards in DeMolay are those recognition that a DeMolay can "earn." In Florida, our Awards program is handled by the Director of ISC Awards who coordinates the awards for every Chapter.
All completed segments of the Leadership Correspondence Courses, all Representative DeMolay Award Applications, all nominations for Distinguished Service Award and all letters of intent for the Past Master Councilor’s Meritorious Service Award should be sent electronically to Dad Jeff Meister, Director of ISC Awards, or to:

Leadership Correspondence Course
Honors
DeMolay honors cannot be earned like the awards. They are presented for distinguished service to DeMolay, in your field of endeavor, or as an Advisor.
Honor nominations are due to the State Office by March 1st of each year. Nominations for the Legion of Honor (active or honorary) and the Degree of Chevalier require a biography of the recipient. Those submitted without the required bio, will be returned for re-work. In no case will Honor nominations received after April 1st be considered for the current year.
Chevalier
The Degree of Chevalier is the highest honor which can be granted to an Active or Senior DeMolay. It is given for distinguished service to DeMolay. Here are some guidelines for selecting Chevaliers.
Cross of Honor
The Cross of Honor is given for distinguished service as a DeMolay Advisor, and requires a minimum of 3 years of service to either a Chapter, or the Jurisdictional Staff.
Legion of Honor
The Legion of Honor is the highest honor of any kind conferred by DeMolay International. It is given for distinguished service to DeMolay or to society in some field of endeavor. The Active Legion is given to Senior DeMolays. The Honorary Legion is awarded to Master Masons who are not Senior DeMolays.
