Two brothers have declared their interest in serving the State Chapter as State Scribe for the 2008 calendar year.

Both candidates have declared that they have the requisite computer skills for the position, and that they will be willing to travel in support of the State Chapter functions around the state. They both have the endorsement of their parents, their Chapter, and their Advisory Council to run for this office.

Brendon Blankinship (Greater Titusville Chapter): Brother Brendon is Master Councilor (2nd term) of Greater Titusville Chapter, and has been a member of DeMolay since 2005, he is a Sophmore at Titusville High School. He has received his Representative DeMolay, Lamp of Knowledge, and Past Master Councilor Meritorious Service Award (PMC-MSA) for his first term as Master Councilor. He is on track to receive his PMC-MSA for his second term as well.  Brother Brendon currently serves the State Chapter as State Seventh Preceptor.

Greggory Jacobs (South Miami Chapter): Brother Greggory is the Master Councilor of South Miami Chapter, and has been a member of DeMolay for three years, and is a Sophmore at Western High School. "Building young men of character
since 1919"

"Toss a pebble in a pond. The waves may spread far beyond what you expect. The life of a DeMolay may be like that pebble. I learned that taking a stand for what is honorable can make a difference and spread out to influence the lives of many. In this way, DeMolay builds better citizens and better lives."
