Positive Membership Growth

Goal Achieved! First time since 1989-1990
On May 22nd, with the submission of three Form 10s by Paul Revere Chapter, Florida DeMolay accomplished a goal that has not been achieved since Brother Will Fleming was State Master Councilor -- we have achieved positive membership growth for the calendar year of 2007 - and for Brother Ian Berry's term as State Master Councilor!

This was not an individual effort.  Many Brothers, Advisors, State Officers, and Executive Staff members have put in a significant amount of time to make this all come about.  If you look at the list of Chapters showing positive growth for 2007, you'll see, this was an effort that was spread across the State.  Our congratulations to you all.

However, we don't want to rest on our laurels!  64 new members is a great achievement, but we need a goal for the remainder of 2007.  Our new goal will be 44 (for a total of 108).  If we induct 44 more members, then we will remove the membership losses of 2006.

So keep those new members coming in, and don't forget about the "Bring 2 ... Go for Free" program coming up for Conclave '007!

Bring 2 ... Go for free!

Don't spend that hard earned dough!Conclave '007
Hey! Want to attend Conclave for free? Well, if you are an active DeMolay, or Chapter Sweetheart, here's what you need to do ...

Just bring two DeMolay prospects with you to Conclave! They need to be actual prospective members -- young men, between the ages of 12 and 21, and they cannot have already been reported on a Form 10, or taken the DeMolay obligation -- and they must join DeMolay during the degree ceremonies prior to the opening ceremony at Conclave.

Then you, and both your prospects will attend Conclave for free!

Just indicate on the registration form who are the prospects, and make sure you have their names listed on your form. We hope to every DeMolay and Sweetheart can attend Conclave for FREE!!

We encourage all our Chapters to register their members and advisors at the Service Award web site, and use the tracking system to help keep tabs on the service that your members have rendered.

When you do, check the "Profile" tab, and make sure you have selected Florida DeMolay (CRD-25152) as your certifying organization.

Allegiance
Frank S. Land
This electronic publication acknowledges authority and yields allegiance to DeMolay International, of which Frank S. Land was founder.
"Building young men of character
since 1919"

"The young men of the DeMolay organization are taught responsibility, integrity, and honesty, and those have been the central values in my life. All of us who were involved in DeMolay in my time benefited tremendously from it. There are hundreds of thousands of examples of men whose adult careers were greatly enhanced because of their participation in DeMolay. The sad part of it is that it is such a brief period in our lives that we are able to be a part of it, but it occurs at a time of great change in a young man's life. DeMolay's lessons last a lifetime."
