Positive Membership Growth
|
|
First time since 1989-1990 On May 22nd, with the submission of three Form 10s by Paul Revere Chapter, Florida DeMolay accomplished a goal that has not been achieved since Brother Will Fleming was State Master Councilor -- we have achieved positive membership growth for the calendar year of 2007 - and for Brother Ian Berry's term as State Master Councilor!
This was not an individual effort. Many Brothers, Advisors, State Officers, and Executive Staff members have put in a significant amount of time to make this all come about. If you look at the list of Chapters showing positive growth for 2007, you'll see, this was an effort that was spread across the State. Our congratulations to you all.
However, we don't want to rest on our laurels! 64 new members is a great achievement, but we need a goal for the remainder of 2007. Our new goal will be 44 (for a total of 108). If we induct 44 more members, then we will remove the membership losses of 2006.
So keep those new members coming in, and don't forget about the "Bring 2 ... Go for Free" program coming up for Conclave '007!

President's Volunteer Service Award
|
Florida DeMolay has partnered with the President's Volunteer Service Award program, as a certifying organization to help our Brothers and Advisors receive credit for the work that we do in our communities. Any individual, family, or group can receive Presidential recognition for volunteer hours earned over a 12-month period or over the course of
a lifetime at home or abroad. We encourage all our Chapters to register their members and advisors at the Service Award web site, and use the tracking system to help keep tabs on the service that your members have rendered. When you do, check the "Profile" tab, and make sure you have selected Florida DeMolay (CRD-25152) as your certifying organization. We look forward to presenting many Presidential Service Awards to the Brothers and Advisors of Florida DeMolay.
