Because I am new to this computer stuff I'm not sure this is how or where to put this but I wanted everyone to know about a fundraiser we here at Escambia Chapter just finished. It was a hugh success, both financially and in increased goodwill. It started with an advisor attending the Master's and Warden's association meeting to inform them that the Master's would be recieving a warrent for their arrest; this arrest also pertained to the Senior Warden (so they will be ready for next year). We sent the warrents informing them of the date they were to report to our chapter to post their bail. We figured we would only get about one-half to participate so we set the bail at the amount of money that we would need to get the chapter to Conclave in July. In the letter we gave a phone number for them to call to confirm that they would attend so that we would have the right amount of food for dinner. We got 6 of the lodges to participate but we did not forsee the overwhelming financial support that came in. It was way beyond our expectations. On the night of the "release on bail" we provided a speghetti supper with tea and dessert. We showed a DeMolay movie during dessert, then we went into the lodge room. There the chapter members performed the flower talk, the ceremony of lights and the shield talk found on the Pennsylvania DeMolay website. Following the talks we called each up for the bail bond posting. Several informed us that we had not asked for enough so I told them that we could do other things for them to earn more money. Hi brother. I would first like to say that it is a pleasure meeting another chevalier. I would suggest talking to Dad Blaize, the guy that runs the site. I am sure that he will know what to do. We will be having an awards ceremony on August 19, 2007, at the Florida Masonic home in St. Pete. Hope that helps, dont know if someone already contacted you. Oh, and Dad Blaizes email should be on the website. Hope to see you there.

HELLO , MY NAME IS SAM KINARD I WAS PMC OF HULBERT CHAPTER IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA IN 1983-1984 AN WAS AWARDED THE CHEVALIER DAD BARKER FROM ORANGE PARK CHAPTER WAS IN CHARGE OF THE AWARD.AT THAT TIME DAD BARKER HAD A FIRE AT HIS HOME THIS HAS BEEN SOME TIME AGO AND I WOOD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO RECIEVE MY CHEVALIER.

Hello Brothers,

Just wanted to drop a quick line and let you all know that my wife recently gave birth to our second daughter, Riley Elizabeth! She was born on Nov. 3, 2006, and was 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 19 in. long.

Additionally, I have passed the bar exam, and I am now a licensed attorney in Kentucky.

I hope that all is well with Florida DeMolay!
