The annual Masonic Home Homecoming will be held on Saturday, March 17th from 10:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Florida Masonic Home in St. Petersburg.
Festivities for the day will include the Youth Car Wash, Chili Cook-off, Antique Car Show, Boat rides on the Lady Claudia, and Live Music.

Our next State-wide Initiation, in honor of Illustrious Brother Robert Goldsmith, 33rd, SGIG, PGM, will be taking place on Saturday, February 10th, at the Florida Masonic Home in Saint Petersburg.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 10:00 a.m. – Rainbow
- Noon – Pizza Party
- 1:00 p.m. – DeMolay
- 3:00 p.m. – Job’s Daughters

At Mini-Conclave Brother Kris Perez of South Miami Chapter was installed as the new State Scribe for the Florida Jurisdictional Chapter. He will be working with Dad Ron Blaisdell over the next year to ensure that our proceedings are issued, and that we start some new communications ventures, including a quarterly printed newsletter!
Brother Anothony Pickren who did an outstanding job as State Scribe from January 2006 to January 2007, has been appointed the Personal Representative of the State Master Councilor, and has been charged with working with the local chapters around the state to ensure that the core concepts of running a successful DeMolay Chapter are properly taught to the new Master Councilors and Chapter officers.
Before leaving office, Brother Anthony made a special presentation. He presented the Medal of Appreciation to Mom Athena Mock from Bahia Chapter for all her efforts and assistance during his term as State Scribe.
The following Chapters and Individuals were crowned State Champs at the recent Mini-Conclave in Daytona Beach Shores:

- Flag Football: Bahia Chapter
- 8-ball Doubles: Adam Ritter & Joseph Hubson, Lake Sumter
- Bowling: Lake Sumter Chapter
- Individual High Series: Brandt Booth, Lake Sumter Chapter
- Individual High Game: Brandt Booth, Lake Sumter Chapter
- Team High Series: Lake Sumter Chapter
- Team High Game: Lake Sumter Chapter
- Texas Hold’em: Josh Liles, Lake Sumter Chapter
- Chess: Ernest Segui, South Miami Chapter
And, Dad Jason Sinnott, Athletics Director also presented a new award:
Sportsmanship/Brotherhood Award
Which was presented to a new DeMolay who had joined South Miami Chapter on Saturday, January 14th:

The following ritual champions were crowned at Mini-Conclave, and they have the opportunity to represent Florida DeMolay at the upcoming Old South Tournament in New Orleans.
